Fati, unhappy with her prospects as an undocumented migrant, has returned from Italy to take care of her five children. As a returned migrant, she is stigmatised by gossiping neighbours and friends who paint her as a failure. Fati forges ahead, but can she cope with a failed marriage, her children being taken away from her and dire financial constraints? Alone and rejected, will Fati regret returning home and will she succeed in her main goal of getting her children back?
