From the temples of Laos, alongside teenage monks, SAMSARA (the Buddhist cycle of death and reincarnation) accompanies a soul in its transit from one body to another through the bardo. In this, the Tibetan Book of the Dead functions as a guide to avoid getting lost in the afterlife. The film provides a luminous and sonorous journey that leads to a reincarnation on the beaches of Zanzibar.
